Selling items and services online and in-person can involve regulatory, compliance, or policy concerns. In these moments where merchants are required to provide additional information, their business can face disruption and it can be a stressful experience.
SOLUTION
A process for resolving issues with your account that communicates the urgency of the situation, but in a supportive and compassionate tone in a potentially disorienting moment. Goals included providing adequate context and information to understand the situation and making it simple to provide the information.
PROCESS
After iterating on the language and interface structure, I developed a configurable prototype that made it easy to simulate a wide range of scenarios, which was helpful in conducting customer research, sharing with engineering, and pitching to leadership.
