Square Onboarding Configurator
Internal tool to configure and generate onboarding flows
PROBLEM
To create an onboarding experience for sellers across different countries and business types, the Square identity verification flow has many variations and states. Designing this as a series of static screens would be difficult to manage and share across teams.
SOLUTION
A configurable prototype to quickly show different versions of the flow. This opened up the design process so engineering and product teams were able to view specific scenarios, provide feedback, and catch edge cases.
PROCESS
I designed individual elements and screens and built a system to arrange them programatically for sharing and testing.
